Ah, For a Simpler Time!

This blog post was written a few years ago, but the sentiments remain the same. It’s a gorgeous day in TN, so enjoy this little post and do some picnicking or novel reading today.

It’s happening again…

I’m pinning Regency era empire waist gowns on Pinterest. I’m listening to classical music. I’m sitting on a bench in one of the rare gardens in NYC and sighing. I’m itching to paint. I’m reading Austenland.

Super Woman

In the past two years I became a wife and mother. We also moved from the Big Apple to a little town in Middle Tennessee.

A Snowy Day

Another month or two has gone by and I’m finally posting again.

It’s snowing this morning – tiny, wet snowflakes that alternately drift and plop. I love snow. It’s so magical. It adds a sparkle to the world so that everything looks like it’s been touched by fairies. It at once makes me think of Narnia, The Nutcracker, and some sort of fairytale in which I am inevitably the main character.

I’m listening to The Nutcracker right now. Tchaikovsky is one of my favorite composers and his music goes so well with the snow.

I’ve just had a brilliant idea. I should film something in Central Park while it’s still covered in pretty white piles of snow. Hopefully it will still look pretty by next weekend… Of course, I have no plot in mind (I rarely do), but I can envision little scenes.

Speaking of which, I published my new personal website recently. It features an entire page dedicated to my short films. Take a look!
