Libraries have improved so much since I was a kid. Or maybe I just never took advantage of them.

When you have young children you are constantly on the lookout for fun things to do with your kids that require minimal effort on the part of the parent. Libraries have totally stepped up. Most libraries have story time at least once a week, a designated play area complete with train table, and most importantly, air conditioning.

Parks and playgrounds are tons of fun, but they’re really only bearable about 30% of the year. The rest of the time you need an indoor place to play, that preferably doesn’t cost money.

So if you’re looking for a fun new place to hang out with your kids, try your local library!
