Yesterday I met one of our new neighbors (did I mention that we bought a house?), and they are ah-mazing. This wonderful lady has chickens in her backyard and, after showing me and the kids around, gave us THREE DOZEN EGGS! WAH?!

Best new neighbor ever.

We had some of the eggs for breakfast this morning. Super delicious.

We are so blessed to have such kind neighbors. When we first moved in, one of our neighbors gave our son their old toy car, the kind you sit in and drive Flinstone style. Then another neighbor gave us a bouncer for the baby. So thoughtful.

I love this neighborhood, and I can’t wait for fall to get going in earnest so we can spend more time outside and get to know our neighbors even better.
