Just kidding. But Pope Francis WILL be visiting NYC the day before my wedding, which is both AMAZING and super inconvenient. It’s really difficult to get a hotel block for your wedding when the Pope is in town. THANKS, POPE FRANCIS!

Thankfully, the wonderful people at Kleinfield are helping me to reserve room blocks around the city for our many out of town guests. Kleinfield has a truly amazing FREE service for “finding and booking hotel rooms for your wedding guests.” Cathy, the VP of Operations, has been a total life saver. I would not have any rooms reserved for my guests if it weren’t for Cathy. THANK YOU, CATHY!

Another update on wedding things:

I have found yet another way to save money! Ha ha! Over the 4th of July weekend, my grandmother and mom deconstructed my mom’s veil and put it back together in a style I like. It’s very essence of Grace Kelly with its lacy Juliet cap and gauzy veil. Tres chic. I can’t wait to try it on with my dress!
